2026 Flags for Heroes

The Meridian Trust North Star Foundation is excited to share a design contest for the 2026 Flags for Heroes fundraiser!
Each year, the foundation hosts its annual event to raise money for our local communities. Flags for Heroes is a glorious flag display celebrating and honoring the people who inspire us. This includes veterans, teachers, medical personnel, family, friends, or anyone else who has made a difference in your life. Everyone is welcome to sponsor a flag by purchasing a keepsake tag to fly on display during the event. This year's event takes place from September 2nd to September 12th. All funds raised will benefit the HEAT program and youth initiatives.
For the first time, we're launching a design contest and will select one winner whose design will be used for the 2026 tags! All entries must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. on April 19th, 2026 and the winner will be announced at the Annual Meeting on May 14th.

Proceeds benefit The Meridian Trust North Star Foundation, an independent 501(c)3 nonprofit charitable organization founded to provide assistance and support in our communities. We aspire to fund and celebrate local nonprofit causes that make our communities shine as bright as the North Star itself. Your contribution may be tax deductible. *Logo-branded tags only provided if you have honorees. No blank tags will be provided. Flags are owned by the Meridian Trust North Star Foundation and are flown in honor of the sponsor’s hero. Alliance branch sponsors will receive yard signs instead of tags. Please contact the Alliance branch for more information.
