The Meridian Trust North Star Foundation had a great turnout at the 1st Annual Big Itty Bitty 0.5k benefiting the Friday Food Bag Foundation. Over 200 people participated in the race and $14,108 was raised for the Cheyenne Friday Food Bag Foundation.

The Meridian Trust North Star Foundation led efforts in planning this event turning a fun and funky idea into a reality. Participants were allowed to run, walk, crawl or use any other form of non-motorized transportation to complete the three-block-long course. Donuts were provided along the way to help people survive the course. When participants made it to the finish line they could celebrate with tacos, pizza and beer. The event continued with live music, a 50/50 raffle, and yard games for everyone.

The Meridian Trust North Star Foundation aspires to support and celebrate local nonprofit causes that make our communities shine as bright as the North Star itself. It’s not about the business; it’s about giving back.
