What Is Flags For Heroes?
Flags for Heroes is a community celebration that honors the individuals who inspire, serve, protect, teach, care for, and support others every day.

From September 2-12, American flags will be displayed at Meridian Trust branches, creating a powerful visual tribute to heroes throughout our communities.
​
Whether you choose to dedicate a flag in honor of someone special or sponsor the event as a business or organization, your participation helps support local initiatives through the Meridian Trust North Star Foundation.
To receive a professionally printed tag, please reserve your flag by August 24th.

Kickoff Ceremony
In partnership with the Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce, join us Thursday, September 3 at 4:00 PM at our Cheyenne East Branch as we kick off Flags for Heroes 2026.
*Flags are owned by the Meridian Trust North Star Foundation and are flown in honor of the sponsor’s hero.
Proceeds benefit The Meridian Trust North Star Foundation, an independent 501(c)3 nonprofit charitable organization founded to provide assistance and support in our communities. We aspire to fund and celebrate local nonprofit causes that make our communities shine as bright as the North Star itself. Your contribution may be tax deductible.
